Telemedicine: Virtual Visits for Patients
Florida Pain Relief Centers offers the convenience of Telemedicine, so you can consult with your pain physician via desktop, tablet or smartphone from any location.
Telemedicine increases access to care for patients who have barriers to traveling or attending an in-office visit. All that is needed is internet access to connect with your pain doctor for consultation.
How it Works
Telemedicine is simple and convenient. There’s no need to download any software; simply use your internet browser on a device with a camera and microphone.
You and your pain physician will connect using Doxy.me — just click their personalized waiting room link (provided below) to join them for a video call.
Privacy & Security
When you connect with your pain provider by way of Telemedicine, all data is encrypted and none of your information is stored. We adhere to all HIPAA, PIPEDA, and GDPR data privacy requirements; your personal data will never be compromised.
Important Information
- Physicians will be able to help you no matter where you physically are within the state where they are licensed.
- This is a service we can ONLY provide while the State allows for it; that determination is updated regularly by our Department of Health.
- You may be required to visit our office if your pain physician deems it necessary.
- Please plan ahead if you are traveling during the epidemic, as the situation is fluid and we have to comply with local and Federal regulations.
Virtual Waiting Rooms
Note: we will be calling you for remote check-in, nursing work-up and check-out. Please answer your phone even if your caller ID indicates potential spam or calling from an unknown location. Additionally, please remove all spam blockers on your phone line and make sure that our number is saved.
