The presentation will be given as part of an afternoon session, Pain Practice: The State of the Art. There will also be time for questions after the presentation.
The Annual NANS Meeting is the world’s largest in the field of neuromodulation. The theme of the 2019 Meeting is “The Science Behind Successful Outcomes,” jointly provided by the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Neuromodulation Society.
The event offers opportunities for:
- Networking with colleagues
- Hearing state-of-the-art lectures
- Discovering the newest & up-and-coming advances in devices
Participants will come from more than 20 countries to capture the latest advances in the science and practice of neuromodulation.
Dr. Creamer's extensive research on his meeting topic includes a recently co-authored Cerebrovascular Disease research paper that evaluates the use of Intrathecal baclofen therapy versus conventional medical management for severe poststroke spasticity: results from a multicentre, randomised, controlled, open-label trial (SISTERS).
In October 2018, Dr. Creamer also presented his Dedicated Poster, titled "Efficacy of Intrathecal Baclofen Therapy Compared to Oral Medication on Pain and Quality of Life in Post-Stroke Spasticity: the SISTERS Study" at the AAPMR (American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) annual assembly in Orlando, Florida.
